Our take

The second part of Kıvanç Sezer’s compelling trilogy focusing on stories from Istanbul’s high-rise flats, La Belle Indifference is a biting critique of neoliberal work ethics. Deadpan humor and surreal scenes can’t conceal the alienating effects of wild capitalism, and the resulting void.
