An adaptation of The Lady of the Sea, a work by Henrik Ibsen. The film, starring the diva Zully Moreno, was a rarity in the filmography of Mario Soffici, just as that play had been a special case for Ibsen, already immersed when he wrote it in his symbolist stage, perhaps the least celebrated.
