At times very creepy, but at most other times amateurly assembled and talentlessly directed. Some of the acting is spot-on, namely from the child actors, but nearly all of the parental figures were awful. The special effects were dated, but were effective and visually interesting, and the music was pretty good. Overall enjoyable, but it's clear why LaLoggia isn't still making films.
