  • Dada Kubin's rating of the film Last Cowboy Standing

The story is good and the movie has its moments (mainly the dreamy and less-realistic parts), but it fails like so many other Finnish movies: the dialogue is kind of clumsy and doesn’t fit the characters, the scenes seem often forced as if they've been put there simply to underline a point (and not because they're an organic part of the story). The script is based on a theatre play, I’m sure it worked better on stage.
