Despite the fact that there is a lot possibility that missed to be a great movie and part that doesn't make sense, it's pretty solid movie. It blurs two different perspective and goodly executed. Looking forward for your new work, Diblasi.
2-3. It counts for a lot when an American horror movie in this day and age mostly doesn't fall to jump scares or on-the-nose stings, allowing suspense to build through atmosphere, and serving a number of really nice little bits. Also, kudos to the lead actress for her ability to carry the movie almost alone. Though the ending is more 'sad' than scary, it's a solid little flick, overall.
The lead actress gives a firm performance and the atmosphere and tension are built effectively. But, as great as its effort is, in the end, it doesn't deliver as much as it intends to and could have had.
Good horror flick with a great actress in the lead role and a sweet set up. The first reel is very strong and the director uses the sole location effectively to build suspense and mood. As the movie moves along what is achieved is the first reel begins to crumble leaving way for some sketchy plotting and tired jump scares. But despite this the movie is scary and tense up to the grim ending. Well worth a watch.
