A true English pop eccentric is the subject of the wittily affectionate documentary Lawrence of Belgravia, a years-in-the-making labor of love for musician-turned-graphic designer, photographer and filmmaker Paul Kelly.

Lawrence is a very lovely and inspirational man. The film itself was very good, in that the viewer got to know Lawrence a fair bit--he's a very candid sort of guy...truly an open book. While Lawrence has experienced more than his fair share of difficulties, the director focused instead upon Lawrence's indomitable spirit and his will to see his dreams realised. Very nice film.
