Class relations in an aesthetic setting, inhabited by a theatrical naturalism: color and representation in favor of the anti-naturalism, in a "camera-film". The unlikely story of survival of a lumpen young man in the bourgeois world of distinctions. Like his siblings in Fassbinder's "The Right to Freedom of the Fittest" and Bresson's "L'Argent", atonement is (in) his breath. The film is an act of sweetness for him.
