Mark Faulkner, fondle scion of a wealthy Londoner, and Sue Morley, a young woman of modest social background – both students at the Academy of Fine Arts – attend, sympathize, fall in love with each other. Indifferent to the diversity of their conditions, Mark proposes to the girl.
