In August 1963, The Beatles performed “Love Me Do” at the Little Theatre, Southport, Merseyside, for the BBC TV documentary The Mersey Sound. Unfortunately the song wasn’t broadcast in its entirety, but a combination of skilful editing and additional footage was used to create this music video.
