  • Coheed 2.5's rating of the film Malice@Doll

A fascinating obscurity for anime. It stumbles near the end, but its compelling. Its CGI animation looks like the cutscenes for a Playstation 1 videogame, but it gives the film a unique look, and it's one of the few animes where scenes of sexual degradation have a point to them rather than be titillation. In the end, it's a curious piece that has understandably slipped into obscurity but deserves more recognition.
