Beautiful, interesting, incredible cinema.
Pacific Northwest, 1983 AD. Outsiders Red Miller and Mandy Bloom lead a loving and peaceful existence. When their pine-scented haven is savagely destroyed by a cult led by the sadistic Jeremiah Sand, Red is catapulted into a phantasmagoric journey filled with bloody vengeance and laced with fire.
With a Nicolas Cage performance that has to be seen to be believed, Mandy is the mind-blowing genre spectacle that arrived already cult. Saturated with psychedelic colors, this is as much a dog-eared revenge crusade as it is a doom-metal mood piece, set to Jóhann Jóhannsson’s thrilling final score.
