Our take

Regarded by critics as the first true Malaysian film, Mekanik showcases Otham Hafsham’s trademark gift for blending light humor, romance, and social critique. Living up to its patriotic spirit, this 1983 classic boasts a multicultural cast in Azmil Mustapha, Susan Lankester, and Frankie Lee.
