    4.6* stars for this wonderful British Silent Film, shot in Paris, with a Russian lead actress. There is also some Eisenstein/Vertov influence in many of the camera shots- the closeups, most notably. In general, this film has a lot of style and is a great watch. Not quite a 5 because the ending is weak, but still, highly recommended.
