  • TeN's rating of the film Neighborhood Food Drive

This caustic black comedy skewers the self-congratulatory ambitions of oblivious gentrifiers & privileged liberal arts students, but avoids overly on-the-nose moralizing through sheer absurdity, frequent narrative misdirection, & unsettling, slippery tonal shifts. Anti-naturalistic dialog & performances create a terrifying world where everyone talks like a guidance counselor yet no one gives a shit about anyone else.
