Olivier does the best he can to fight injustice at work. But from one day to the next, when his wife Laura abandons the family home, he is left alone to juggle between the children’s needs, life’s daily challenges and his job. Faced with these new responsibilities, he struggles to find a balance.

It is effective. Perhaps the lack of sentimentality is a strength as much as it works against the potential power of the piece. As a social-realist drama it is a mere observation, though not lacking thematical focus, it's fault is in the capacity to be sensitive with its own themes and emotions-the whole is compromised by not letting it's individual elements play off each other, being too matter of fact as a result.
