What are people saying?

  • Aaken's rating of the film Panic Button

Great screenplay and cast. It could have been a riotous farce, but Sherman directs the whole thing with as much verve as a depressed sloth. Tamiroff is the most hilarious as the demented director, Chevalier does a tired repeat of his usual Chevalier number, Powell brings elegance and Mansfield is amusing as a talentless whore with a heart of gold who plays Juliet opposite Chevalier's Romeo... A missed opportunity.
