What are people saying?

  • Toby Hung's rating of the film Paper Airplane

A precursor of the revolutionary documentary movement in China. In ways similar to Wu Wenguang's "Bumming in Beijing", Zhao's reserved but effective presence and camerawork highlights the lives of wasted talents of Beijing during the turn of the century; as much as they are victims of heroin addiction, they are results of the bureaucratic failures of the government.
