the new short from Pixar Animation Studios, tells the story of a hungry sandpiper hatchling who ventures from her nest for the first time to dig for food by the shoreline. The only problem is, the food is buried beneath the sand where scary waves roll up onto the shore.

this might be technically the most jaw-dropping 3D animation I've ever watched and it is indeed adorable to boot. It ain't one of the great Pixar shorts of old, but it sure is worth the admission price.
Stellar animated short from Pixar that's message is evident and its entertaining quality pure. The universal theme of facing one's fears and transcending challenges is acutely captured. Interesting score as well accredited to Adrian Belew.
The narrative is easy to follow, the moral is great for young kids, the character is as fluffy as it gets and, holly molly!, the animation is so perfectly made (just look at how they made the sand grain by grain!). What more can we ask from a Pixar short?
