Contrary to many documentaries that compel the viewer to feel guilty and hopeless in the face of the issue, this film chooses to focus on 2 families working at the plastic recycling farm, and calls for our sense of empathy. It works. We forget it is a documentary, we are one with those people. The children in particular, steal the show, witty, funny, smart and so full of life, they are.
A beautiful film.
