Ratings & Reviews

  1. DenoResandono's rating of the film Q & A

In this movie, director Sidney Lumet showed us the dirty side of law. In this case police & legal entity. Q & A is exciting, thrilling, and provocative. Mr. Lumet makes it better with his directorial skill. Q & A has a solid storytelling. It also adds some racial issues in its screenplay. The characterization was GREAT. Nick Nolte's performance is EVERYTHING. I loved its cinematography. The soundtrack is also AMAZING

  2. FISCHER's rating of the film Q & A

Jolie réalisation d'une surprenante ambiguïté, malgré quelques stéréotypes d'importance secondaire qu'on pardonnera évidemment au réalisateur... www.cinefiches.com

  3. Bilouaustria's rating of the film Q & A

Solid script and acting. Another cop corruption story but this time with interesting and ambivalent characters, Lumet, as usual : clever, never tries to show off his directing skills, and takes his time to make the best of this Q&A. His naive "hero" is a great character and the way communities do not really mix proves the great american dream of integration to be an illusion.

  4. cinegeek.de's rating of the film Q & A

  6. Mtume Gant's rating of the film Q & A

Strong cop drama from Lumet that ambitiously and courageously stitches together corruption with racism in New York city law enforcement and politics. Really a bold work that is clunky at times but forgiven cause of the scope and some good performances, mainly from Nolte and Assante. This is the NY that many of us grew up knowing, how race was dealt with and how everything always smelled corrupt. 3.5

  7. Terry_Moby's rating of the film Q & A

As usual in a Lumet film strong performances abound, a good story and brilliant camera work. The Ruben Blades song we have to listen to in the beginning, middle and end, however, is totally off-key!

  8. Den-Leroy Kangalee's rating of the film Q & A

A disturbing and provocative cop drama with Nick Nolte as one of THE MOST brazenly racist and psychotic individuals on screen...A strong film by Lumet. The power of this strange film is in the behavior and characterizations, the menacing racism and language depicted, and the critique of not only our Justice system/Law Enforcement and corruption (Lumet's expertise) but how "good" people allow "bad" things...

  9. Obient's rating of the film Q & A

NY Confidential. Mr. Nolte was a badass.

  10. Matt Kilgore's rating of the film Q & A

    Nick Nolte is so spectacular.

  11. Daniel S.'s rating of the film Q & A

Impressive Nick Nolte performance in one of the best Sidney Lumet movies of the 90's.

  12. Stephen Campbell's rating of the film Q & A

Fantastic performance from Nick Nolte almost covers up the films awful score ,that said its one of Lumets best

  13. VENIMOS LOS JODIMOS Y NOS FUIMOS's rating of the film Q & A
