Kidnap thriller that take some acceptable twists - but the highlight is the scene when Mel Gibson for the first time (but not the last!) turn the tables on the bad guys. Gary Sinise does a good job with a thankless bad guy role. The problem is that it never feels like the kid is in danger as it is apparent early on that the villains lack ruthlessness. A movie that I'm not keen to visit again.
