Ratings & Reviews

  1. Karl J. Kipling's rating of the film Adam's Rib

In the final days of the Soviet dream a household of women try scrape together enough to survive before the collapse. A comedy about desperation that had my co-viewer, who's old enough to remember those days and whose country is still in similar circumstances, shedding tears. And it's always satisfying when a director knows when to end the movie: yer common mediocrity'd have let it run ten unnecessary minutes more.
