The demonic angle that made the first installment so unique is dropped, while the filmmakers indulge many of the worst tendencies of the 'chaos cinema' style. This is the first [REC] that is indistinguishable from any of Hollywood's "Resident Evil" films.
2 - For all the bad things you can say about "[REC] 3" (and there is plenty to say), the least you can do is give it a smiley sticker for trying to be something different.
