Synopsis

As a great artist who did not tolerate any compromise, Rembrandt Van Rijn experienced fame and fortune, bankruptcy and personal tragedy. Famous at thirty, he married the beautiful Saskia, and within ten years, lost it, just as his fortunes began to decline.
