I can't give this the average three stars although it's a bit of a stretch to give it a fourth. But Lloyd Kaufman films this like a crusader on a quest where his Jerusalem is Insanity. The lesbian sequences are gorgeous, Asta Paredes and Catherine Corcoran are goddess and wild which gives Lloyd one of his first opportunity to film beauty.
The Troma genre Cuisinart spews out a self-referential, self-mocking gem. So much more effective, affecting, engaging, and sheer fun than seems possible with such a mishmash of elements. Kaufman's skill at making this 'formula' work is unrivaled.
