  • francisca bacon's rating of the film Scapes and Elements

Would've appealed more to my (dark) ambient and spacy dronescape listening teenagehood, but even now its charm is not wholly erased, esp. the "Fire" segment which passes from paysage-état d'âme of previous parts to an eerie half-cauchemar éveillé hung with Symbolist undertones close in mood to a Khnopff desolate veduta, and the "Space" section where Fennesz's music erects Böcklin ruins "au bord de la mer.. de neige".
