Interesting on the reality/fantasy illusion, yet its attempt to turn clichés on their head, although commendable, grows -cinematically speaking- into a cliché experience itself (e.g the American Beauty 'pun' -as silly as the original). Love's rites are interestingly brought to the fore for the ageing couple and the unexpected subversion of exchange-value by the pleasure principle is telling in a quirky sort of way.
Not worth watching. It's like one of those numerous clichéd British comedies of recent years about "ordinary folk". Also, unlike tragedy, humour on the whole isn't international. This might be really funny if you're Swedish.
There are more laughs and warmth in these fifteen minutes of a short than in several blockbuster movies that call themselves comedies that I have seen. The pay-off is probably predictable but the journey there and the opening scene with the old married couple in bed is a gem. Patrik Eklund is a name to remember.
