Aurélien, known as “Mouton” (Sheep), works in a restaurant in a small town. A cheerful 17-year-old, he leads a simple life and is loved by those who get to know him. That’s until Mouton disappears after a bizarre accident. The friends he leaves behind continue on with life, but miss him dearly.

This dynamic, restless film jumps from one character and one plot line to the next—with an abandon and constant upending of expectations rendered in a suitably cinema-vérité style. Its profound, even existentially ramshackle and random quality won it a prize at the prestigious Locarno Festival!
