  • ionosonde's rating of the film Shirome

typical shiraishi formula: found footage pseudodocumentary, somewhat interesting backstory, nice little tidbits to draw you in deeper, all building up to...what? in this case -- spoiler alert -- it's a ghost who drips cum everywhere. the casting is absurd and the j-pop sextet that stars in this film are obnoxious and annoying. how am i supposed to react to a happy dance routine in the ghost's lair? i don't know.
