Claude Lanzmann directed this 9 1/2 hour documentary of the Holocaust without using a single frame of archive footage. He interviews survivors, witnesses, and ex-Nazis (whom he had to film secretly since though only agreed to be interviewed by audio).

Pride has always been a big part of the German image. Pride in your work, in your attire, in your life. That said, to see a Nazi take pride in how efficiently he was able to manage the trains being sent to various different camps in war time, is a bit odd.
