This Academy Award-nominated short is an artistically spare depiction of the Greek myth of Sisyphus, sentenced to eternally roll a stone up a mountain. The story is presented in a single, unbroken shot, consisting of a dynamic line drawing of Sisyphus, the stone, and the mountainside.

[YouTube] A Silver Mt. Zion's "Mountains made of Steam" vs Jankovics Mountains made of boulders. Love the say sisyphus breathes both like a writer trying to come up with the right words (or a screenwriter closing act II) or a tennis player on a 5-set tie-break. Amazing animation too. Loved how the lines of his body were connected to the lines of his movement/pushing and those to the punishing boulder. Superlative!
