What are people saying?

  • Renton47's rating of the film Spear

One of the most important Australian releases in years, released with relatively little fanfare from what I have seen. A stunning work of non-narrative cinema, using dance to explore the inherited identity and experiences of Aboriginal Australian men in our society. Page utilises the camera, lighting and makeup to gorgeous effect, and the film skilfully weaves traditional with contemporary music and dance. Recommend
