Our take
Having won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes for best first feature in 2021, Croatian filmmaker Antoneta Alamat Kusijanović returns with a vivid short story about expatriate community and family betrayal. Come the defiantly explosive finale, being an undutiful daughter is a boisterous, rousing thrill.
