As with all modern "Trek" shows it looks phenomenal and Scott Bakula looks like the all American space explorer and seem perfect for the part while Jolene Blalock is the sexiest eyecandy that ever was on any "Trek". Sadly the first two seasons went nowhere before it finally managed to have a solid "terrorist - 9/11" season and storylines that connected to what had happened before. Last episode is a stinker though.
Seasons 1 and 2 are at best very standard Star Trek,
and season 3 has a great start and an interesting arc, but it isn't a phenomenal execution. Season 4 is the best, cause it's just so fucking fun (mafia vs. alien-Nazis, Buckaroo Banzai as a xenophobic terrorist). I can really only recommend this show to people if they are real big fans of white men captaining ships called Enterprise. I liked Jeffery Combs though.
