Critics reviews

The events are clearly past, mythologically so, with scenes of troops sailing off to war, first dates at the movie house (with make out sessions to NOW, VOYAGER, ‘42) and fumbling over an old sex manual. These are scenes that could come out of a Budweiser commercial, but Mulligan invests them with such emotion and detail they become monumental.
