A curiosity. Douglas Sirk's only western. If you can forget the questionable screenplay based on the premise that integration is only a matter of clothes, you might admire the attention Sirk pays to détails when he describes the Apaches' customs and habits. Already forgotten though.
There is a reason this is forgotten. Hudson is ridiculous as an Apache native, covered in bronzer and always appearing to stare into the middle distance. The action set pieces are fun, but I couldn't help but laugh whenever Hudson was on-screen.
