What are people saying?

  • a Smith's rating of the film That Kind of Girl

A movie about an Austrian girl living as an au pair in London during the 1960s. The beginning, and the bulk of it, is nicely photographed and full of believable interactions (albeit acted a bit too self-consciously) between the young woman and her boyfriends or b-roll of young people enjoying themselves (or protesting) during the period. There are a couple of abrupt tone shifts, and it becomes about sexual morality
