  • J.J. 'Jake' Gittes's rating of the film The 7.39

This is quite similar to 'Falling in Love'. Middle-aged man & woman suffer a midlife-crisis. Something is missing in their lifes. Both are pissed-off & stressed. And, by chance they fall in love to each other. So far, so good. It's not a bad movie by any means; it's not stupid or gross or cheap. It's been done with taste, but it doesn't creep under your skin. It doesn't touch you emotionally. And that's the problem.
