This is the story of a lonely man named John. He lives his life alone trying to connect with anything or anyone he can. Sometimes, it’s hard to tell the difference between hysterical laughter and hysterical crying.

The Acquaintances of a Lonely JohnDirected byBen Safdie
This is a real gem. Concise, to the point; wry and thoroughly delightful. The best thing about it is that it simply tells the story efficiently and then stops when it is done. Nothing is dragged out beyond its natural life.
