A film that makes some connections to the narratives of Max Frisch and its games of obscure identities - namely "Gantenbein" or "Stiller"-and also to the identity's imponderability of the "new German cinema" and Haneke's "Wer war Edgar Allan?", but that gets lost in overloaded characters, situations and uninteresting scenes, besides an incapacity of conclusion. Some scenes are good, as the one depicted in the still.
In this one it's the journey that's more interesting than the destination. In the beginning it's a mystery and many things are possible. At the end everything is resolved and tied up nicely with a bow on it. The world might as well end, because it's all too picture perfect.
