  • El Biffo's rating of the film The Big Shot

I can't believe I am the first one here to review this almost-Noir crime film! It has every cliche in the book, and Humphrey Bogart, who I love, even though he is his own cliche. Or because he is. TBS climaxes with New York State Troopers chasing him down on an icy road in the snow-covered Adirondacks, beautifully shot in glorious black-and-white. Other than that, nothing new. Nothing new about a good steak, either.
