What are people saying?

  • Operation Kino's rating of the film The Black Bird

No. No. NO. Imagine a 1970s screwball comedy film. Now imagine a 1970s screwball comedy film taking a giant shit on John Huston's classic adaption of The Maltese Falcon. The satire is forced and unfunny. (Why Nazis?) The scenes jump from one to another with no sense of location or continuity. The only amusing bit is Lee Patrick reprising her role as Sam Spade's secretary. The Black Bird should be an episode of MST3K.
