I was half expecting Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder to show up. I'm glad they didn't. I have a bit of man man-crush on Ken Takakura. Whether he played a bomber, a murderer or a gangster, his humanity always shone through. What a fellow.
Solid and well constructed disaster thriller with a great cast. The most surprising film is how much the film dedicates to the bombers, caring about creating real human beings instead of cartoon villains. Great performance from Ken Takakura, tight direction, funky soundtrack. Underrated little gem.
