  • Stevie's rating of the film The Courage of the People

Political cinema at its very finest. Sanjines exposes the horrifying massacres by the Bolivian government against the workers. Despite the severe brutality, Sanjines ends on a hopeful note that the spirit of the workers and the people can never be totally demoralised, and that they will continue to fight in order to end the oppression and repression and establish a true socialist paradise where none can be exploited.
