Synopsis

Julien, a young french comedian, disembarks in Chacahua, a fishing community in Mexico’s pacific coast.

Our take

A recurring theme in Mexican director Matías Meyer’s work is that characters take transformative journeys in which the landscapes inform their transcendental experiences. Bolstered by the expressive music of Galo Durán and cinematography by Gerardo Barros, this film promises the trip of a lifetime.
