Constanza, Spain’s Princess is to marry Pedro, Portugal’s next King. He falls for Inês, her aid. Constanza returns to Spain and Inês buries her love. Princess dies and Pedro joins Inês, against father’s plan. Inês’s killed. Pedro agonizes until his father dies, then offs them & crowns Inês as Queen.
