A beautiful, cunning performance from two of the best living actors of cinema; and it was all about a stage play. I recommend it for the tensions, for the passion, for the lies, anxieties and ambience, for all the great memories of who you will once become. A movie suited for a King's act, as seen by someone who hasn't witnessed the plays.
Beautiful revisit of the play, beautiful rapport between McKellen and Hopkins and, yet, I am not quite sure about the whole of the movie. It is theatrical at its best but somehow slow and unfinished. A nice movie to watch, though.
