What are people saying?

  • Richmond Hill's rating of the film The Elephant's Graveyard

A wonderfully deft magical-realist drama. The brief bucolic interlude enjoyed by the two men allows Bunny to step outside, if not of himself then, of the artificial strictures society imposes (work, hierarchy, decorum and so on). The wider melancholia - the reality from which they escape - provides a sad framework that not only bookends this particular drama but the world Bunny walks back into, one known by many.
