What are people saying?

  • Daniel S.'s rating of the film The Glory Guys

Revisionist western written by Sam Peckinpah and based on the Hoffman Birney novel. Clichés like the usual fights in the local saloon or the love story between a young soldier and an innocent town girl mix with modern themes like the merry but lustful widow who can't decide between the army scout and Tom Tryon or the denunciation of the incompetence of certain army officers blinded by pride. Recommended.
