Paris 1789: Prospère, a former theater director, runs a bar called “The Green Cockatoo”. Many unsuccessful actors, Prospère’s former employees, are regulars. The pub is also frequented by aristocrats. They hope there will be the pleasant thrill of moving between real street crooks and other rabble.
